Mozaic Transporter Landing

In the beginning, I just make this ship for fun. Since I was invited by a CGVFX school to teach Maya and Shake Courses. I have to make my courseware for training project. And this ship was the chosen one. From basic modeling to objects detailing, rigging, animating, shading and final rendering technic in Maya. And than composting the footages
in Shake. That was good starting point for CG/VFX beginners.

This one are still W.I.P work. I took the background photo by a Nikon Digital Camera and make ship by Maya. Finally composting things in Shake. The final staff will be a 15-20
sec landing camera shot. Wish you like this!

Sovii is the first of my finished human character art work. Wish you like her.

I did all works in Maya 7.0 and render by Maya Software render. I splitted whole scene into 4 layers and render every layer by multipass rendering technic. Finally compositive work completed in Shake and Photoshop.

I'm working on the Pixar Renderman Version of Sovii now. You can check my renderman web site few days later...
Nurbs modeling in maya 7.0. Rendering by mentalray. I did't use any GI or FG in this image. Use Mentalray just for making glossy reflaction.
Thank you and welcome to my home town - The Spring City Kunming
